Meet Madeleine
My qualifications and experience
I am an experienced counsellor offering private counselling in York and online across the UK for younger adults, university students, autistic adults, and LGBTQ+ clients.
I work with people experiencing low mood, anxiety, panic, low self-confidence and low self-esteem. I also support clients with more specific difficulties including relationship challenges with partners, family and friends and life transitions such as leaving home, starting work or finishing university.
I am a BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) accredited counsellor listed on the BACP register of therapists.
I work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework. which puts your wellbeing at the centre of the counselling work we do.
I have been working as a counsellor for seven years. I specialise in working with younger adults (18-40s) and have a excellent understanding of the psychological, emotional, relational and social challenges you may be facing.
I am an experienced university counsellor. I work the University of York as a Mental Health Practitioner. I provide counselling and mental health support to students at all levels of study. My knowledge and experience of working with students makes me a good choice of counsellor for university students looking for private counselling.
