A warm welcome to you.

I am a BACP Accredited counsellor offering face to face counselling in Heworth, York. I also work online with clients across the UK. I primarily see younger adults (18–40s) including many university students, LGBTQ+ and autistic people.

I provide counselling for a wide range of issues including, anxiety, depression, low confidence, relationship and family problems. I offer a confidential and non-judgmental space where you can talk about whatever you need to.

Counselling can help you to:

  • understand yourself better

  • build and enjoy more meaningful relationships

  • process difficult experiences and emotions

  • develop self-worth and confidence

  • reduce feelings of anxiety and low mood

I know talking to family or friends isn’t always straightforward. You might keep things to yourself to avoid being judged, to prevent worrying others,  because it feels like they wouldn’t understand or are part of what’s going on.

Counselling takes you beyond coping, helping you understand what’s holding you back. With greater awareness, you may begin to approach life differently and make changes that feel right for you.
