A warm welcome. I am an experienced counsellor offering private counselling in York and online across the UK for young adults, university students, autistic adults and LGBTQ+ clients.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a university counsellor and have extensive experience supporting young adults through the pressures, uncertainties and transitions that can come with this stage of life.
Life might feel overwhelming right now. You may be overthinking everything, feeling stuck or lost, finding relationships difficult or dealing with a challenging situation.
I provide weekly or fortnightly counselling for a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, loss and relationship difficulties.
It is not always easy to talk to family and friends. You may worry about being a burden or fear being judged.
Counselling offers a space where you can talk openly about whatever is concerning you, especially thoughts and feelings that may feel difficult to approach in your usual conversations.
Counselling can help you to:
-
identify and manage difficult feelings
-
gain new insights and perspectives about yourself
-
improve your relationships with yourself and others
-
find new ways to cope with problems
-
increase your self-esteem and confidence
All of which can improve your quality of life and wellbeing.
Sessions are available in person in York or online, depending on what feels most comfortable for you.

Sessions: Tuesdays & Wednesdays 10am to 6pm.
Zoom sessions available from 9am.
