Meet Madeleine
My qualifications and experience
BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) accredited counsellor listed on the BACP register of therapists.

I have worked as a private counsellor for 5 years. I specialise in working with younger adults (18-40s). I offer counselling for anxiety and counselling for depression. I also work with people who want to improve their self-esteem and self confidence.
Experienced university counsellor. I am employed by the University of York as a Mental Health Practitioner. I provide counselling and mental health support to students at all levels of study. My knowledge and experience of this client group makes me a good choice of counsellor for university students looking for private counselling.
Some of the more specific concerns I work with include relationship difficulties and relationship breakdown, emotional dysregulation and panic attacks, grief and loss. I also offer help for stress, feeling lonely and feeling isolated.

Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, Level 4 from CPCAB (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body).
I undertake a minimum of 30 hours of Continuing Professional Development each year in line with my BACP accreditation requirements.
